Our Vision
At Fruit For Our Children, we seek to restore individual and community health in a simple, natural way. We invite you to become part of this inspiring plan and join us in nurturing this positive vision of a future which is healthier, happier and less stressful. There are many possible visions for a better future, ours is an abundance of healthy, nutritious fruit, freely available to all in strategically selected food forests throughout NZ.
This vision will be implemented by
- connecting children with nature, to improve their vitality and overall quality of and reverence for life and to get them climbing trees and picking fruit again!
- growing fruit trees organically, with less toxins and more nutrients
- producing a range of fruit varieties locally, to shorten the distance between the orchard and the table
- helping create vibrant, healthy communities, through recognition of common needs and goals
- empowering people of all ages to plant fruit trees and eat fruit.
